Dear Tumblr Followers
I see that a lot of you post gifs from the show New Girl. Zooey Deschanel bothers me sometimes because she’s such an “indie darling” and “manic pixie dream girl” in a lot of her roles but I’m interested in watching it because it looks funny and I do like her about half of the time. Is it worth watching?

You’ll like the most recent episode for sure based on your dislike of her. The show makes me laugh, despite its lameness sometimes

I watched the first five or six episodes. It was enjoyable, a bit hokey, but still okay. It gets better, b/c it starts kind of dull.

Nope! It’s pretty awful. The characters are totally one-dimensional and the plot is boring. Yet I can’t look away because I like bad things.

mmm its entertaining, but shes that typical character. There are a few redeeming qualities, found in the co-stars. Keep low expectations

I think it is. I didn’t watch it right away because of the same reasons, but it really is quite funny, and the boys are hilarious in it.

Some eps are more amusing than others. The best part is watching the clothes she wears. No jokes have been as funny as LOTR one from 1st ep.

I don’t generally like Zooey Deschanel because I find her boring… But I love New Girl. The guys in the show are fantastic.

Only sometimes. The guys’ subplots are usually genuinely more interesting, but are never given the attention they deserve.

yes. She plays a childlike teacher. The last episode, she describes her character perfectly.
